Asheville, North Carolina: Dine Out For Haiti on February 11

On Thursday, February 11 Asheville area independent restaurants are responding to the need in Haiti by participating in Dine Out For Haiti. Local restaurateurs have agreed to donate 10% of their gross receipts to The American Red Cross for Haiti relief on Feb. 11.

The need in Haiti is so massive we can barely put our minds around it. Many wonder how they can assist and aren't even certain that what they do will make a difference. Our help can change the lives for many! We can make a difference for our neighbors to the South.

Consider planning your 'dinner out' to coincide with Feb. 11. Breakfast, lunch or dinner - you choose, but please participate. We visit these restaurants all the time - be certain to do so for Dine Out For Haiti.

The list is still growing so I'll update the list as they come in. The current list of restaurants participating in Dine Out For Haiti includes:

Doc Chey's
Rise'n Shine Cafe
Barley's
Mamacita's
Corner Kitchen
Luella's BBQ
Fig
Horizons
Blue Ridge Dining Room
Sunset Terrace
Tupelo Honey Downtown
Tupelo Honey South
Burgermeister's
Artisan Catering & Deli
12 Bones Riverside
12 Bones South
Sunny Point Cafe
Chai Pani
Lexington Ave. Brewery

More restaurants have shone interest and will confirm soon so check back.

Thank you for participating and thank you for getting the word out and telling others about this great opportunity to help.

Kevin
