The entire Highland's crew was very hospitable to me throughout the day. Despite my stepping in their way to get a shot or to better my angle, they maintained their patience with me. I am so impressed with their enthusiasm for what they do. Coming from all walks of life, it appears almost all of the crew have graduated from college and have even come from other professions to follow their love of brew.
Getting footage of the final packaging for Great Gatsby
We shared a lunch of BBQ sandwiches, provided by Grove Park Inn, while tasting the new beer for the Resort. I believe the Highland's gang are about as giddy as the folks up at the Inn. They each take such pride in the new creation along with every beer they create. Right after lunch, the production of the new beer began. I felt a bit giddy right along with the crew, its about like giving birth (without all the pain!).Highland's beer dinner in Horizons Dining Room. Seats, as of this writing, are still available for those interested. The price is $60.00 per person plus service charge and tax. A little steep for a beer dinner, but since it is staged in the region's finest restaurant - the food and pairings should be impeccable.
The beer is just in time for the Inn's Celtic weekend featuring Celtic concerts including the very popular Gaelic Storm.
