Questions for Independent Business/Restaurant Vendors

I have a business I want to have a tent.
We have a juried selection process and a limited amount of space for vendors. Artists, crafters and businesses who source their goods and merchandise locally will be given priority. We seek to have a broad representation of types of businesses and services available in our area. If you are a business (not a crafter or artist) interested in booth space please e-mail us at biglovefest@gmail.com and put ‘Business Vendor’ in the subject line.

I work with a non-profit, we want to have a presence.
We have selected spaces available for non-profits. Please contact us for more information at biglovefest@gmail.com and put ‘Non-Profit‘ in the subject line.

I have a restaurant/catering business, we want to serve our food at the festival.
There is a limited number of spaces available for food vending. Because we are a new festival & want things to run as smoothly as possible, preference will be given to businesses that have prior successful experience with vending at festivals. We also take into consideration the amount of food items that you plan to serve which have been sourced locally or regionally. If you are interested in vending food please e-mail us at biglovefest@gmail.com and put ‘Food Vendor’ in the subject line.

Is this an outdoor event?
Yes, the entire event takes place outdoors. There is no indoor space available.

Will you have tents, tables and chairs available for vendors?
No. For the Big Love Fest you will need to make your own arrangement for tents, tables and chairs. You can contact Classic Event Rental at 828.658.3373. All tents MUST be WEIGHTED on all 4 corners and certified fire retardant. No staking of tents is allowed.

Questions for Attendees

How much does it cost?
The Big Love Fest is a free event. Please remember to bring your valid ID and cash to purchase vendor items, wristbands, beverages and food!

Do you take credit cards at the event? If not, where can I get some extra cash?
Though some vendors may take credit cards, you will need cash to purchase most things including wristbands at the event. Multiple ATMs are located within a block from festival grounds.

How do I get the wristband?
We plan to have 2 stations on the festival grounds for wristbands, 1 near the stage in the Roger McGuire Park and 1 at Pack Place. Wristbands will be $2 and available to people 21 and over with valid photo ID.

Can I bring my own cooler?
No outside coolers are allowed at the Big Love Festival. Also no glass containers are allowed on festival grounds. We strongly encourage festival goers to purchase food and beverages from our local, independent vendors and downtown restaurants.

Are kids welcome?
Absolutely! This is a family friendly event & we will have plenty for kids to get involved in.

Where do I park?
We encourage the use of parking decks around the downtown area. Click here to see those decks and their locations.

What about my pet?
Though we love animals, pets are strictly prohibited inside of the festival boundaries. This is in the best interest of both the animal and the crowd.
