|Mayor Terry Bellamy and Grove Park Inn CEO Craig Madison|
Mayor Bellamy made the proclamation in honor of the Let's Move! toward healthier food in school 'Recipes for Healthy Kids' challenge. Ira B. Jones Elementary and The Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa teamed up to create three recipes for the challenge. One of those recipes was selected out of hundreds of entries to be in the semi-finals in the Legumes category. Three national judges for the challenge arrived in town to judge the recipe for themselves. Public voting for the recipes continues until midnight on May 31, 2011.
