Pumpkin Cheese Pie Recipe

I wanted a rich pumpkin pie last year for Thanksgiving and so put this recipe into action.  A year later its the rest of the family that is itching for a beautifully rich pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving!

The pie is easy to make and while you will receive compliments from everyone . . . beware that you are about to add to your own work load each year.  Hopefully, it will still be worth making the pie year after year.

Pumpkin Cheese Pie Recipe

1  8 oz. pkg. Cream Cheese
2  Tbl. Flour
3/4  Cup Sugar
3/4  Cup Cream
1/2  tsp.  Pumpkin Pie Spice
2  Cup Pumpkin Meat (Fresh or canned)
4  Eggs, medium, beaten
1  tsp. Vanilla
1  9 inch pie shell

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Combine the flour and sugar in a large mixing bowl and blend the cream cheese into it.  Add the remaining ingredients into the bowl and beat until smooth.

Pour mixture into a 9 inch unbaked pie crust (see pie dough recipe).

Bake at 350° F for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out of the center clean.
