Krispy Kreme Kobe Burger
Some may just call it a heart attack waiting to happen - others say why mess with a good thing and put all that together ... and yet others say, why not!? Recently one local Chef challenged another to create a course using a Krispy Kreme glazed donut and the result was interesting as you see in the photo above.
The Chef accepting the challenge sliced the donut in half and grilled it. He made and grilled a hamburger from Kobe ground beef, topped it with Boursin cheese and added a good size portion of foie gras. Placing all of this between the slices of the Krispy Kreme donut made for a burger I won't soon forget.
Of course I couldn't pick it up to eat it, but with that much rich delicious food I didn't care. Thank you Chef for creating a very special burger but I am disappointed to hear that it won't be making the menu cut after all!
