The Dallas Arboretum is showcasing the intriguing garden sculptures of legendary glass artist, Dale Chihuly. His dramatic sculptures and installations bring bold colors and imagination, beautifully executed throughout the 66-acre garden through Nov. 5. During the daytime, the Arboretum offers educational materials, programs and classes for children and adults. Chihuly Nights, powered by Cirro Energy, showcases illuminated sculptures and various dining options three nights a week with extended garden hours until 10 p.m.
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is located on the southeastern shore of White Rock Lake at 8525 Garland Road, Dallas, TX, 75218. The Arboretum is open daily from 9am until 5pm and 6 – 10 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays by prepaid reservations for Chihuly and concert nights.
The Dallas Arboretum is also in full Fall mode with pumpkins and gourds galore throughout the gardens. The Pumpkin Village is impressive and brings obvious delight to the kids as well as the adults meandering through it. We enjoyed our garden stroll even though the sky was fighting against a little rain at the time. Its beautiful and if you’re in the Dallas area, this is definitely worth the time to see!
