A simple icing for almost any occasion. Whether its homemade donuts, pound cake or any number of other cakes, fruit, bread pudding, etc, etc, etc. And its very easy to tweak the recipe to flavor the icing by adding a touch of orange zest, lemon zest or your favorite flavor. Or you can substitute other flavorings for the Vanilla including your favorite spirit - Bourbon, Rum, etc!
1 cup Powdered Sugar
1 Tbls Butter, melted
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 Tbls Milk
Mix the sugar, butter and vanilla before gradually adding milk. Add milk until the icing is until it is able to spread. It will thicken a little more as it sets.
