Making Home-made Whipped Cream

There’s nothing like adding real home-made whipped cream to your favorite dessert.  It doesn’t take long and it’s really easy to create your own whipped cream.

Keep in mind that if you flavor your whipped cream you’ve opened up a plethora or new ideas for yourself!

2 TBLS Sugar
1 cup Heavy whipping cream

1 tsp. of your favorite flavoring can make your whipped cream very special.
For darker flavors such as caramel, substitute brown sugar instead of granulated sugar.

Place a metal bowl and metal whisk (or metal mixer blades) in the freezer about 10 minutes.

Remove the bowl and whisk (or blades) and pour the sugar in the bowl following by the whipping cream.  Whisk until the cream achieves stiff peaks.

Whipped Cream is ready to use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 8 – 10 hours.  If you store it, re-whisk it for about 10 – 15 seconds before using.

Makes 1 ½ - 2 cups of whipped cream.
